Food Lifeline efficiently serves the local Western Washington area by using 96 percent of its revenue to directly feed hungry people. Last year, the organization delivered more than 24 million meals to more than 686,000 people through its network of nearly 300 food banks, meal programs and shelters. Food Lifeline is a member of the national hunger relief organization, Feeding America.
As part of this year’s 30th Birthday Celebration of the Bite of Seattle,® guests who make a donation of $100 or more to Food Lifeline when purchasing admission The Alley will have the chance to receive $30 in Bite Bucks to spend at any food booth at the Bite. Bite Bucks are the same as cash at the festival and are valid for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
